19-Year-Old Student Hides Spy Camera In His Clothing To Take Secret Street Photos In The 1890s

Fredrik Carl Mülertz Størmer (1872-1957) enjoyed a hobby that was very, unusual at the time. He walked around in Oslo, Norway with his Stirn Concealed Vest Spy Camera and secretly took everyday pictures of people. Most of his photos were taken in the 1890s while Størmer was a 19-year-old student at the Royal Frederick University. You can find more of his work here: Norwegian Folkmuseum.
