Ever since he was assigned the task to make a propaganda film at school, Dutch/American director Teddy Cherim has been hooked. He studied at the Metropolitan Film School London, after which at the age of twenty he co-directed the feature film Sterke Verhalen, which had national cinematic release. Teddy is a social director and draws inspiration from the people and environments around him. His extensive directing experience matched with his youth and enthusiasm make him a rare find and one to watch out for.
Teddy lived in Kenya for 2 years where he worked as Creative Director at a regional media production company called MIATV. Here he worked on various documentary and film projects and developed local television formats.
